Charity is one of the Masonic touchstones. This month has seen significant charity donations from Lodge Lake Macquarie to worthy causes in our area. The donations include $10,000 to NourishED (local charity assisting with food security and other things), $10,000 to Little Wings (Flights for sick children from regional and remote areas to attend medical appointments), $5,000 each to Nova and Coast Shelter (safe places for domestic violence victims) and a further $5,000 each to Southlakes Men’s Shed, Marine Rescue and Hunter Freemasons Association.
